Jane Kosovsky, DVM
Dr. Jane E. Kosovsky is a Veterinary Surgeon that has been working with East Side Animal Hospital since 2000, but began her practice in 1990.
Dr. Kosovsky says she is fascinated by every aspect of her specialty, which has led her to achieve wide ranging experience in both orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries. She received her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts, from Oberlin College and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Ohio State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She performed her internship and surgical residency at Animal Medical Center in New York City.
Though she is not a regular member of our staff, Dr. Kosovsky is considered one of the best surgeons in the city--even named a Best Vet by New York Magazine--and is the primary surgeon for East Side Animal Hospital.
At home, Dr. Kosovsky has a Belgian Tervuren and a Netherland Dwarf Rabbit.
