Lizette is a receptionist who has been with East Side Animal Hospital since May of 1998, but has been working in the animal care field since 1995.As the first person our clients meet, Lizette is responsible for greeting and processing our clients prior to appointments as well as managing and maintaining our reception area.

Asked what she enjoys most about her work, Lizette says, "First and foremost, my boss Keith Manning is a really nice, very easy going employer to work for. We are also right smack in the middle of a vast melting pot, which makes it all the more enjoyable to help others."

At home, she has a Yorkshire Terrier named India, a Lhasa Apso named Jay and a Shih Tzu named Rubi. With her free time, Lizette says she enjoys the company of her 2-year-old daughter and husband.

Dana Salzman is a Receptionist who has been with East Side Animal Hospital since January of 2010. In addition to her work in the animal care field, she has a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the State University of New York at Albany.

“The staff here is all very caring and professional in their duties,” she says of why she enjoys her work. “I also enjoy interacting with our many clients and welcoming in all of the new puppies and kittens.”

Dana likes to spend her free time with her husband and children as well as relaxing upstate by the lake.

Kate Gleser is a Receptionist and Social Media Strategist at our Manhattan animal hospital and has been since the summer of 2010. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Franklin & Marshal College with a minor in Film and Media Studies.

“Besides the obvious care that pets receive here, which is exemplary, the atmosphere of the office is lively, competent and made up of diverse personalities and individuals, all dedicated to providing optimal services,” she says. “Our clients are loyal for many years, which evokes a sense community here at ESAH.”

At home, Kate has a Cockatiel named Jo Bob. Her interests include reading, writing, drawing, movies, photography and hanging out with her nieces and nephew.
